Go Dance Offers Déjà vu Experience for Dallas Night Club Patrons

Austin , TX – Go Dance, Austin’s premiere venue for social dancing, is opening its doors every Sunday night to fill the social dance void created by the closing of Dallas Night Club.

Entitled “Déjà vu”, this dance experience will mimic Dallas Night Club’s unique ~ yet long-standing and very popular ~ multi-style dance format; AND will include FREE lessons before each new style:

·         Beginning with Country Western from 6:00pm – 8:00pm

·         Transitioning into West Coast Swing from 8:00pm – 9:30pm

·         Ending with Salsa and other club Latin styles from 9:30pm – 12:30am

Music will be DJ’d by Go Dance’s staff of professional and award-winning dancers ~ highly skilled in creating a captivating mix of today’s hottest dance songs.

Unlike Dallas Night Club, Go Dance will allow patrons to “bring their own booze”.  Cost is $5 per person at the door.   No reservations required.  Light refreshments will be served.

“The closing of Dallas Night Club is a tremendous loss for the Austin community,” said Mylie Arnold, owner of Go Dance.  “Our goal is to provide a viable alternative venue in order to continue the wonderful tradition that dancers all over Austin have looked forward to every Sunday night for years.”

Go Dance is a non-smoking social and competitive dance venue featuring a new 2,400 square foot, unobstructed hardwood floating dance floor.  It’s located at the corner of Anderson and Burnet, in Northcross Mall between GuitarCenter and Wallpapers-To-Go.  For more information, contact LauraCapes at 512-339-9391 or email info@godancestudio.com.

"Taking lessons at Go Dance was one of the best gifts I've given myself. The social and physical benefits are tremendous. I should've done this years ago!! "
